gah, knew I shouldn't have flogged all them old PC bits off on cix recently.
need some more RAM in MILs PC (and a better processor), and BIL need a hub for his new DSL connection & home network.
Oh well, better send them to the local PC bits shop instead of My Room Of Magic Boxes

In Other News; yay - I painted a Munchkin the other day! And it didn't look absolutley crap. Pity we forgot a) the primer & b) the varnish.
Don't think I'll take up painting little figures for a hobby though, way too fiddly...

games purchased & played recently : Munchkin (& Munchkin 2, Unnatural Axe), Drakon & Bohnanza (English beans alas, no German ones for me to play with and impress ingaborg by remembering their names when next we games evening)

Now back to hacking 8051 C & asm code for fun and profit...

Some blokes just been to the house to finish off the new burglar alarm install (apparently the insurance company insisted on a certain type of alarm or something so it had to be all redone). He must have bathed in a vat of perfumed deoderant. Horrible scented stuff all over the house now. So I'm sat at my desk at the top of the house with all the windows open and a gale blowing through.

but no smell (apart from the pig farm down the road. Lovley. not. but still better than smell of perfumed deoderant). Rather be frigging freezing than have icky smells around...

note to self : buy full face gas mask for whitters. Add modivications (plus drip stand) for drinking tube connected to ltr bottle of vodka.
