Dec. 18th, 2003 09:38 pmNow that's the right way to watch TV.
A nice Cixen sent me a DVD-R with the program "To Mars by A-Bomb" about the US's Project Orion that was on TV a bit ago and I missed.
I've just watched it on the PC using WinDVD.
At 1.75 * speed.
Which once I got used to the mickey-mouse voices, worked very well and as I was engrossed in the story, didn't notice that it was at 1.75 * the speed.
Now I can't or don't want to watch anything at slow (1 * reality) speed :)
Next mission, purchase a Freeview box, get some scheduling software for the PC & video capture stuff, some nice large HDDs and set it to the task of recording things for me so I can watch them at my own pace at whatever time. Whee!
