Apr. 12th, 2009 09:33 pmDecided to splash out a bit of time on some contemporary TV apart from the weekly House & Lost downloads :
Dave's Red Dwarf "Back To Earth"
E01 : what a disappointment.
E02 : Hey, I laughed a few times! Not bad, actually, that's more like it.
E03 : on the list to watch, hope it'll be good.
Started to watch the Dr Who Planet of the Dead. What a pile of unmitigated unwatchable shite. FFWD through it, nope, it's shite all the way through. Ah well.
So, cheered self up with Ian McKellen as King Lear (with an unplanned Whovian link of Sylvester McCoy as the Fool); bit of a marathon at almost 3 hrs and I'm not sure I should say "cheered self up" :) but it was a good thing to watch it and be edumificated a bit.
Must be a holiday - I've done gratuitous TV watching :)
