Trouble with stuff updating the MSJVM is that MS no longer support it. I tried downloading the JVM from the website specified by IE6 help, and got a message saying that thanks to a court case with Sun, they're dropping support, and you have to go use the Sun one or the IBM one or the various other JVMs that actually comply with Sun's standard. If it weren't VB demanding it, I'd go for the IBM one as it's quicker than Sun's and just as free - but I suspect VB will look for specifically the MS one in the registry. Does it have a copy of the MSJVM on the install disk or is it trying to download it?
