And remember boys and girls, if you get random SMSs, 10 times out of 10 they are spam.
(eg I just received "You have 1 new BPQ voicemail. please call 0871 210 4164 to listen to it". Would love to find these spammers / fraudsters, put them in the hole in the ground where BTs bloody aluminium cable is, drop some ferric oxide and a magnesium fuse, light and watch from a nice distance...)

Well worth doing. You can register for free here. The Data Protection Commissioner has decreed that SMS spams are, for the purposes of the Regulations, "calls", and are therefore covered.

the mindset of spammers is a strange thing.
Though I can't relate to 99 % of the population either (football? pubs? clubs? eastenders??) so I guess I'm just too far from all their mentalities to grok them.

Still, kill a spammer a day, that'd be a good thing to do...
