Observed on Slashdot, so went to http://www.yourvote.com/pci/ to see what the fuss is about.
PCI-SIG apparently got their lawyer to tell a guy who ran a popular PCI Vendor & Device ID database to 'cease & desist'.

And recently on the PCI-SIG maillist I'm on : "I hope they also go after: http://www.pci.org because it's pretty obvious that the Prestressed Concrete Institute is infringing on the PCI trademark and many people will mistakenly order a PCI card but receive instead several tons of concrete."

stupid greedy Borg-esque corporate America (==Britain, the 5(1st?2nd?3rd) state, otherwise known as the dummy target. Especially with RAF Fylingdales radar upgrade for son of star wars ...)

Need a cave to go live in and hunt wooly mammoths.
That's a cave with a decent DSL connection, please.

Wonder if I can defect to SeaLand?

It is getting a bit...unnerving, isn't it?

At least Skylarov and Johansen got off. That was good to see.

Step 1: Put together a team of geeks/goths to penetrate Sealand and overthrow the current monarchy.
Step 2: Enjoy new ownership of small manmade island by playing Quake over high speed internet link and maybe have a few drinks.
Step 3: Recover from heavy LAN gaming/piss up session
Step 4: Prove to the world that this all NEW Sealand is not to be messed with by sending the following message to George Bush, Saddam Hussain and Osama Bin Laden... "Come and have a go if you think your hard enough".
Step 5: Build large rotating neon statue of [livejournal.com profile] nadnad
